Sunday School
Sunday School at Bethel is divided
into three age groups: Dynamite for the older ones,
The Ark for younger ones, and a creche for the
very young. The children are an important part of our church,
and so are present in the main service for the first part and
the latter part. They often help out with jobs such as taking
the offering, and they share what they learn during their lessons
when they rejoin the main meeting.

Easter 2006
The children prepared a giant-sized
display depicting the Rejected King (despite being recognised
as a king when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, He was soon
arrested and crucified) and the Risen King - the tomb is empty,
Jesus is alive today!

Holiday Club
In the autumn half term break of 2005, Bethel ran a "Pirates"
holiday club for the Sunday School and their friends.

Exploring God's
Word with Caleb the Kite.
This scene depicts
the account in John 21, in which Simon Peter had taken some of
the disciples fishing after Jesus had been crucified and had
risen again. Jesus appeared, and challenged Peter because Peter
had denied Him three times, and then Jesus showed Peter that
He still loved him, and wanted him to build His church.
